Muck Boots came to life in 1999 as part of The Original Muck Boot Company®. They were created to be the most comfortable, high performance wellington boots on the market and few would disagree they have achieved just this. Every boot in the line was designed to be 100% waterproof, warm and comfortable and they were made to be durable and last the test of time.
Today the Muck Boot brand has established a loyal customer base and has become one of the fastest growing brands in the wellington boot market. Their boots are very high quality and cover different markets from safety to fashion. We are big fans of Muck Boot at Quality Wellies so if you are looking for a warm and comfortable premium neoprene boot then we thoroughly recommend Muck Boots.
At Quality Wellies we stock Muck Boots because we believe that they are one of the top Neoprene Welly brands available in the world today. The Muck Boot is packed full of features with the purpose of building the most comfortable, high performance footwear on the market.
Muck Wellington Boots are made from Neoprene which is made from mixing natural rubber with air bubbles rather like a rubber version of sparkling water. This process makes the rubber lightweight, buoyant, warms, stretchy and supportive while remaining 100% waterproof.
Fabric lining that pulls sweat moisture away from your foot and redistributes it to dryer parts of the boot allowing quicker evaporation. Creates cooling effect in warm dry weather.
Insulation technology keeps feet warm in the winter and cool in the summer. Stretch fit keeps boot snug and comfortable.
For excellent grip and comfort. Large toe pad increases toe-off traction. Straight lug walls for improved dirt release. Grooved heal bad to reduce slip hazard.
Adds protection against wear by adding layer over neoprene.
100% waterproof from top to bottom.
etc Anti-Friction Sockliner
Reduces friction between socks and boot to prevent heat and sweat buildup. Highly durable, breathable and resistant to deterioration.
Are Muck Boots waterproof all the way to the top?
Yes, all the external materials on the boots are waterproof. The boots are 100% waterproof from top to bottom.
Can I wear my Muck Boots in the summer?
Yes. An XpressCool lining pulls sweat moisture away from your feet and redistributes it to drier areas of the boot. This combined with neoprene's natural insulation properties means that the boots will help keep your feet cool in summer.
How durable are Muck Boots?
Very durable. Whereas rubber boots are prone to splitting and puncture damage the neoprene on these wellies is more rugged. Many of the boots have reinforced toe and heel protection as standard.
Should I wear thick socks with my Muck Boots?
We recommend wearing a medium thickness pair of socks. The technology in the boot goes a long way towards making your feet comfortable without the need for overly thick socks.
Should I order the same size as my other footwear?
This is a difficult question to answer because everyone is different. Typically we say that most welly brands come up a size bigger than normal so for example if you are normally a size 11 then we would recommend trying a pair of size 10. We have a 365 day return policy so you can always return the boots to us if they do not fit.
There are a lot of cheaper boots that look the same. Why should I pay more for a pair of Muck Boots?
With all successful brands there will always be copies made. We stock Muck Boots because we believe them to be one of the best neoprene boot brands available in the world today. Yes you can get similar looking boots for cheaper but they are unlikely to be as comfortable and rugged as the Muck Boots. Many of our team wear this brand when walking and we would never swap them for a cheaper copy. It is always worth checking the thickness of the neoprene on the boots. A quality neoprene boot should have around 5mm thick of neoprene. Some of our Bogs Wellies even have 7mm. If the neoprene is much thinner than this then the boot will not be as high a quality.
