Mens Wellies FAQ

Can only men wear mens wellies?

Whereas ladies wellies are often shaped to fit the female calf mens wellies are actually pretty unisex. This means that they can be worn by men and woman. Just bear in mind that mens wellies can sometimes be a bit heavier and chunkier than ladies wellies.

Are mens wellies heavy?

Not necessarily. Most mens boots weight exactly the same as their ladies boot size equivalent. Many of our mens wellies are extremely light.

What sizes are available for men?

Mens wellies tend to start at UK size 4 and go up to UK size 13. Ladies wellies start at UK3 and go to UK9. We don't have all sizes in all boots so check before you buy.

Why are there less bright colours available for men?

We can only offer what is available from our suppliers. In general boots for men come in more neutral colours compared to boots for ladies which can be more colourful. If you use the colour filter at the side of the page though you will see we do still have a range of great colours available for men.

Should I order the same size I wear for my other shoes?

Wellies tend to come up on the large side. Because of this our advice is to buy a size smaller than you normally would. For example if you are normally a size 11 trainer you may find a size 10 welly fits best. This is only advice though and everyone is different so please do not take this as an absolute fact. If you try your boots and they don't fit then you can take advantage of our 365 day return policy.
